Disability is, to a large extent, created by the environment and infrastructures customized to the need and ease of the majority. People born with or acquired certain minority characteristics are “dis-abled” by such external conditions. One of the key roles of a business leader is to “re-able” them by reviewing and re-designing the environment and infrastructures so that they can be a part of the team and pursue the business performance together. At the end of the day, that is also one of the ultimate ways of the respect for human dignity.
